There can be a bunch of reasons why this is happening. But remember one thing, nothing is impossible, “ TRY TRY BUT NEVER CRY ”. Without further wasting time, let’s discuss why there is no JOB landing on your Life’s Heli-pad.

1. SO CLOSE, YET MISSED IT

So, to begin with, let’s just check your resume for a while…… Okay, so after you have checked your resume, you find it is pretty impressive and just the perfect one according to you.

You might have asked someone else to check your resume and they gave good feedback, right? But just think for a while, you were so focused on your RESUME and disillusioned by not able to land a job, that you forgot about POLISHING and SHARPENING your PRESENTATION SKILL / INTERVIEWING SKILLS.

So, now get-up, and get to work on your presentation skill / interviewing skills. BUT SORRY NOW, LET’S SEE HOW WE CAN IMPROVE REMAININGS……..

2. SEARCHING JOB FOREVER

Let’s say you have made a perfect RESUMEIt reflects what you are and what are your capabilities. Yet, you are not getting a job. Ask yourself, WHY? See, look at your COVER LETTER, is it alright. Try to give it a look, not as an applicant, but as a Manager / Recruiter.

Is your COVER LETTER having the following qualities:-

  • Easy to remember.
  • Interesting.
  • Smoothly written.
  • Something OUT-OF-THE-BOX.
  • Competent.

Look like we have sorted out another problem, right? Now Hurry up! Take care of the above points and land a job.

TIME FOR THE NEXT PROBLEM TO BE WASHED AWAY

3. CHANNELIZE YOUR FOCUS

You got what I meant to say, right? No, you haven’t! Alright, let me explain it. You are good at quite a few things, right?

If you are, that is really Impressive. If you are not, it’s okay, don’t be sad. Now if you implement your abilities anywhere else it will be all good and no problem, but this will be treated as Jack-of-All-Trades in the corporate world. You might be good at many things, but that is not what the Recruiters are not looking for. They want applicants to be perfect at ONE SINGLE SKILL suitable for the specific position they are hiring you for.

So, focus on the ULTIMATE REQUIREMENT, and let’s just put the reality show aside for some time and grab the most awaited opportunity of having a JOB

4. UNLOCK POTENTIAL USING KEYWORDS

Optimize your RESUME with some KEYWORDS

Keywords play a vital role in your resume. Having a few keywords in your resume will play the Dice for you. Even Keywords are used to detect or scan resumes by many job offering firms. Use Keywords that absolutely fits your JOB description and not anything that sounds fascinating.

Recruiters look out for KEYWORDS in the resume instead of a bunch of words not worthy to describe that particular KEYWORD the recruiters are looking for. So, don’t forget to add KEYWORDS before you go for RESUME SUBMISSION next time.

5. DUMP THOSE JARGONS

It feels good to sound like a mature, professional, and perfect applicant right? Well, let me tell you, you are doing nothing but harming your own RESUME, decreasing its potential to get a JOBYou might say that those are impressive words and will increase my chances of selection, but is doing the opposite. STOP using those JARGONSThey make no sense at all in the view of the Recruiters
