- Let the Interviewer know about your skills and strengths like problem-solving, ingenuity or innovation and put them in the spotlight.
- Remain concise while elaborating and try to be as precise as possible even while you’re improvising.

Don’ts:
- Do not fumble while giving answers. If you’re nervous, slowly inhale and exhale to calm down gradually.
- Do not remain quiet or unresponsive if you don’t know the answer. For instance, you can say that: “I am sorry Sir/ Ma’am but I am not able to recall the answer at this moment”.
Certainly, after that, the Interviewer will skip it as they don’t expect you to know every answer. - Being arrogant or ignorant of criticism. Ignorance is not a virtue and it will only lead to your rejection. Therefore, be cooperative and respectful towards the opinions and suggestions of the Interviewer.
- Forget to memorize industry-specific jargon. Likewise, without core knowledge about the job, you’re only casting a sorry figure before the Interviewer.
- Disobey instructions or procedures as given. Above all, a job application involves a lot of loops and rounds, so be patient and follow them properly.
- Give complex or vague answers. Interviewers are not willing to test their attention span during the Interview. So, always indicate clearly what you mean and avoid miscommunications.
- Do not be irrational lacking basic manners or etiquette. Most importantly, follow the Interview decorum and be patient.
