Well, to be honest, it depends on the person who is responsible for your Recruitment.

If you have an approval for taking a 2 months’ break, then it is absolutely fine. Nothing to worry about.

Acknowledging that you have taken a 2 months break would not reflect anything wrong in your RESUME.

Rather, it would prove your honesty, and desire to work for that Institution / Firm.

But, if your Boss / Recruiter is a bit on the tough side, they might get angry at this.

But do not worry, cases like these (angry boss) hardly occur.

If you have the approval of the Boss / Manager, then it is absolutely okay to take a break without thinking about the reflection it will have on your RESUME.
