It’s good to add your hobbies and interests in your resume only if they are somehow relevant to the desired job. Else, they are just a waste of your precious real estate on your resume. The term ‘good’, in this case entirely depends on the qualifications one should possess for your desired job. If the desired job requires:

  • Team Work: Add some sports like Cricket, Football, and Basketball, etc.
  • Solo drove: Add marathon running, hiking, mountain climbing, etc.
  • Creative Thinking: Include chess, reading, writing and designing, etc.
  • Social Interactions: Include Networking events, public speaking, volunteering for social activities, etc.

Remember only to include what’s relevant and necessary.

Happy Job Hunting!
