First of all, if you have cracked the written exam then Congratulation!
Next, let us see what not to say or mention in the U.P.S.C. interview that can break down the entire tiresome hard-work done till now.
- DO NOT TELL LIES – It is the foremost thing that you should avoid. Even if the thing is a small lie, you should not even think about telling lies. Remember, whatever you say, it must have a justification, even your casual lie can be caught immediately and can ruin the whole thing. The interviewers will backfire in most of the things you say. So, be prepared.
- DO NOT GIVE A CASUAL RESPONSE – You must have a particular reason and solid justification for what you are saying. Even a single sound that comes out from your vocal-chord must be justified. Always be ready to justify whatever you speak-of, never give an unreasonable response, or a casual answer.
- DO NOT STAMMER – Don’t panic, be confident. Stay cautious and do not stammer. If you really need a moment to think, always prepare what to say if they ask you based on something you have said. Remember, even the strongest person can be broken down by the Interviewers if they want to. Always be confident, keep yourself focused, be steady, and ready to give a clear justified answer.
- IF YOU DON’T KNOW to ADMIT IT – Yes! This is the only way. Do not bluff. Do not take too much time in thinking or remembering things for long. If you do not know it, admit it that you do not know it. The panel members are too knowledgeable and well-educated and are always socially active as they are a part of the SOCIAL SERVICE. They know things, even in minute details.
ALL THE BEST!
